THE AMOS C. BROWN III SCHOLARSHIP
To honor his legacy of community empowerment and advocacy, the Amos C. Brown, III Scholarship, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), aims to support the career aspirations of future communicators and activists. Graduating seniors who exhibit the following traits are eligible for the scholarship:
- Exceptional academic achievement with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Actively engage in community service
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Pursuing majors in communications, including media, public relations, journalism and other related fields.
In alignment with our commitment to fostering diverse voices and leadership within our communities, priority consideration will be given to students from Marion County, Indiana public schools and minority backgrounds.
The Amos C. Brown, III Scholarship is actively seeking donations toward the $100,000 requirement for endowment. All donations submitted through the Central Indiana Community Foundation will directly contribute toward the opening of scholarship applications.
